One of the best Fairytale National Hunt breeding stories in recent year's & A week to remember

April 2021 will forever be in our memories with a historic Fairytale week for Woodfield Farm Stud.

FREEWHEELIN DYLAN Gr.1 Irish Grand National Hero

HOMETOWN BOY Gr.3 Aintree Festival winner &

MINELLA TIMES Won the Aintree Grand National

A True home grown Fairytale

Not only was Irish Grand National Hero FREEWHEELIN DYLAN born at Woodfield Farm Stud but was also conceived here. Both his sire CURTAIN TIME & Dam: GAYE FUTURE  are farm owned.

HOMETOWN BOY was also another home grown success story for the farm being by CURTAIN TIME and out of MERCY MISSION. Hometown Boy looks a future Star.

Our week was capped off with MINELLA TIMES winning the Aintree Grand National. Both Minella Times dam Triptoshan and Grand Dam Triptodicks were both residents of Woodfield Farm Stud. Triptoshan was born and reared here until she was 2 years old. Minella Times aunt Country Time is still resident at Woodfield and has bred 3 winners including the exciting Paul Nicholls trained Switch Hitter.

What an outstanding week for a family run stud farm based in Dungarvan, County Waterford and one of the Best National Hunt breeding stories in recent years.
